Famous movie director, Guillermo Del Toro has called this (Pacific Rim) movie as his most ‘un-modest’ work till date. He has described the whole experience as being like a spoilt little child having fun with almost everything, on an enormous scale.

Ladies and gentlemen, coming from the man who has given us movies like Hell Boy, Pan’s Labyrinth and Julia’s Eyes, is the upcoming and highly anticipated monster movie – Pacific Rim. And our homeboy Charlie Day is in that frigging movie!

Oh yes! From killing his horrible and sexy boss, Charlie has now gone on to sign up for a movie where he will be killing giant, nasty sea monsters, which will be spreading havoc after emerging from beneath the oceans.

Feels good when somebody like Guillermo Del Toro comes up to you and asks you to appear in his next grand venture about sea monsters!

What a ride it is turning out to be for Charlie; one day he was hoarding gasoline to earn some extra bucks, the next he was being sexually harassed by the sexy Jennifer Aniston and now, he is off to chase sea monsters with Guillermo Del Toro.

Del Toro has described Charlie’s role not as a comedic relief, something which was completely unexpected, but expected since its Guillermo we’re talking about. Although the director has described Charlie’s role as not funny, he has termed it as very, very strange and nice.

Interesting words being used there by Del Toro, but it’s good, because an actor as good as Charlie will always be subjected to some experimentation, and who’s better than Del Toro at experimentation with characters.

Pacific Rim is like Guilermo Del Toro’s baby, something he cares for very much and is also putting a lot of money and time into it. Hence, it is indeed an honor for Charlie, or for that matter, any other star in the movie to act in it.

About the movie, well, I won’t reveal the plotline so that you all can catch the movie in full-anticipation-mode. But, I can tell you that Horrible Bosses is about three friends who in a fit of desperation decide to kill their respective bosses after being subjected to verbal and physical abuse at their hands.

Imagine the man who sold barrels of gasoline to capitalize on the rising fuel prices in It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and now he will be lying on a bed with a half-naked Jennifer Aniston.

And Charlie isn’t complaining, why would he?

In the movie, Charlie plays an assistant to a very sexually aggressive dentist; by very I mean very very much, and he is subjected to constant sexual abuse by her.

While Jennifer Aniston will be playing Charlie’s boss, Jason Sudeikis and Jason Bateman will appear as his friends, who are also suffering from their bosses.

This is a big break for Charlie, without a doubt; he’s now gone from a spray paint inhaling Charlie Kelley to becoming the movie star, Charlie Day.

And so far, Charlie has got nice reviews from the critics and soon his movie will be open to curious viewers, whose opinions might just open up a new door for Charlie, one that would lead straight to a full time career in Hollywood.
